Antique Jackson's Warranted "Battery, New York" Staffordshire plate. This rare purple transferware plate was made by Job and John Jackson in Burslem, Staffordshire, England. This Jackson's Warranted transferware plate is decorated with a pastoral scene of early New York. The rim of the plate has a scalloped edge and is finished with a dotted pattern enveloping a floral motif around the periphery.
